China Everbright Limited (“Everbright” or “the Group”, HKSE code: 165) today announced that the Company has been named the “Best Listed Company” at the China Securities Golden Bauhinia Awards, organized by Ta Kung Pao, the Hong Kong China Enterprise Association, Hong Kong Securities Association, China Securities Association and China Enterprise Association. The ceremony was held at The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong. In attendance were former Chief Secretary Mr Henry Tang; Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Prof. K.C. Chan; and the Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central Government in HKSAR, Ms 

Xulin. 
 

The China Securities Golden Bauhinia Awards select the most prominent enterprises and managers in China’s securities industry over the last two decades. Other winners of the “Best Listed Company” category include Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited, China Telecom Corporation Limited and Suning Citicall Appliance Limited. 

 

China Everbright was also recently named the “Enterprise with the Best Investment Prospect 2011” by Capital and Capital Weekly, both leading financial magazines in Hong Kong. The judging panel comprised political, commercial and academic influencers.
