As part of its expanding securities brokerage and wealth management business, Everbright opened a new branch in Mongkok on 8 May 2010, the third branch after North Point and Whampoa, Hung Hom. The new branch provides one-stop financial, investment, wealth management and insurance services, capturing the vast demand and potential for these financial services. 

 

The brokerage and wealth management businesses of Everbright are maturing. Apart from a full range of optimized securities, futures, bullion, forex and wealth management services, last year it launched Golden Sunshine 165, a Hong Kong stock trading platform designed for mainland investors. Meanwhile, Everbright began expanding its branch network in August 2007 with the opening of its first branch in North Point, followed by a second branch in Whampoa, Hung Hom in 2008. For further business growth, and to satisfy increasing demand for brokerage and wealth management products, Everbright opened its third branch at 168 Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mongkok, which occupies a floor space of 2,000 square feet. In addition to a more diversified product offering, the three branches will also discuss with product suppliers to provide more product combinations to satisfy changing market and investment needs. 

 

Everbright is confident on the prospect of Everbright’s securities brokerage business and plans to open two more branches in the next two years.
